Dr. Bulent Tarman, CEO
Bulent Tarman is a researcher, scholar and publisher in educational sciences. He has a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction (social studies education), as well as a minor in Comparative and International Education, from the Pennsylvania State University. He has served as Associate Professor in Selçuk University (2009-2013, Konya, Turkey) and Gazi University (2013-2016, Ankara, Turkey). His research interests include social studies education, teacher education, citizenship and human rights education, curriculum development, educational technologies and multiculturalism in education. Dr. Tarman has more than 10 years of management experience in academic publishing. He is founder and editor-in-chief of the Journal of Social Studies Education Research. He is also part of the Editorial Board of the many other journals such as Journal of Curriculum Studies Research and Research in Social Sciences and Technology. He has been serving a as CEO of OpenED Network since 2019.
